That's great, Google Docs has really helped us at work improve our whole requirements documentation process (not so much helped, as actually made it manageable).Any chance you could make the comments area more than an inch wide? my documents have more comments than actual document contents!
Yeah, keep with the Chrome exclusive thing... Where is the point to fight for standards and an open Web?
I'm guessing the "Chrome exclusive thing" is more to do with the level of HTML5 support than anything else.
What about if I can see my picasa web albums and my google music as a photo and music folder in Google Drive. That would be awesome integration
Appreciate the updates. I know each one of these tweaks/features represents many man hours of labor. When spreadsheets become editable offline, I'll be ready to do all my work on GDrive.
These are really nice improvements.I am looking to be able to add comments by collaborators to all types of files. At the moment it is only possible for documents and presentatiosn. This feature is much needed for PDF files and photos !
Lot of very interresting things! I love that all, and I appreciate the thumbnail view
Continue waitting for a preview for pictures as web has in the gdrive ios app
Will you be offering a better set of preferences for google drive soon? I just have all 15 gigs of my stuff wiped from my computer and google drive because... I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY. It finished synching this morning and everything was gone, folders, documents, files, pictures. You ABSOLUTELY NEED TO HAVE AN OPTION TO DISABLE LOCAL FILE DELETION. FOR GODS SAKE.
If I remember correctly when you delete something locally then it will move to trash in drive
We've had something similar happen at work. A whole lot of documents and folders "disappear". We are still looking into it but no solution as yet :-(
Good...Please do more improvements in future also...
Can you add editing support for .doc and .odt files, or at least an option to merge them with GDOC files? I find it annoying when I have to export the GDOC file, edit the file, upload the DOC file, delete the GDOC file, then convert the DOC file to a GDOC file.
Any update on the super high CPU (100+%) usage of Drive on Mac?
Already in use! SUPER!
